Look you guys, I am going to keep sending these because the last time I sat in on one of your meetings you told me you have not heard of any problems with the Sheriffs Department.
Here is another case of JCSO staff posting prejudicial information on social media.
Posting this detail of the on scene staff’s perspective of an incident within hours of the event without even a fig leaf of disclaimer is the perfect way to taint the potential prosecution
of the case. Further, allowing the community to weigh in on guilt or innocence if the suspect just makes it impossible for the accused to get a fair trial in Jefferson County. This
is the action of an unprofessional and poorly managed department. DO SOMETHING to control and restrict the social media posts of this department.
