Resource Conservatfon Manapment Grant with Puset Sound
Energy
Statement of Issue:
This is a grant agreement between Jefferson County and Puget Sound Energy for a grant to
fund the Shared Resource Conservation Manager Program (RCM).

Ftscallmpac:tlCost Beneftt Analysis: This grant provides up to $64,500 In reimbursement
towards an $181,500 total grant budget. The proposed RCM program was created through a
partnership between Jefferson County, the City of Port Townsend, Port Townsend SchoOL
Dfstrlct, Chimacum SchoOL Dfstrlct, and Fort Worden to reduce overall energy use in each of
the partner's facilities. The local partners will fund the $117,000 local match for this grant
over a 3 year period. The program will focus on energy consumption and energy budget
reduction stratestes that will offset the matching component of the RCM program.

Please sign the two original contracts and return them.
