(near Landes St. corner) Be prepared to drive if necessary. Directions will be provided. If you drive separately, look for the JCIRA banner at the site. We leave at 10:45. It takes 90 minutes to get there, but another 15 if you want to stop at the gas station for snacks/ bathroom stop. Weather: Bring clothes for the weather, a folding chair if s desired. We won’t have a canopy, so umbrellas may be good too. Signs: We don’t know if the Day of the Dead celebration makes signs inappropriate. Probably not, so bring one, knowing we may decide not to use it. The signs may be visible from inside the detention center, so print big. Food: There is no food at the site, bring snacks, some cars may stop for food on the way home. Questions?
