Dear Mr. Williams:
The Department of Community Development (DCD) is pleased to inform you that your
request to waive the requirement for printed copies of the Preliminary Plat and Site
Development Plan has been granted.
This determination is based on the following provisions:
RCW 58.17.020(4) defines Preliminary Plat as a neat and approximate drawing
of a proposed subdivision and shall be the basis for the approval or disapproval
of the general layout of a subdivision.
• JCC 18.35.280(4) mandates the submission of five paper copies of a Preliminary
Plat meeting the standards outlined in JCC 18.35.290 and 18.35.300.
• JCC 18.40.100(5) authorizes the administrator to waive specific submittal
requirements.
Please proceed with the digital submission as discussed in the Hearing Examiner's
Orders.
