SUBJECT: BRIEFING re: Jefferson County Food Bank Report
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The purpose of this agenda item is to provide an update on the Jefferson County Food Bank Association.
Representatives from the organization will attend to share recent developments, ongoing initiatives, and
upcoming goals related to food security and community support within Jefferson County.
The outgoing Executive Director Patricia Hennessy, and t President, Roland Faragher-Horwell, will both be
present to facilitate the update.
ANALYSIS:
The Jefferson County Food Bank Association plays a vital role in addressing food insecurity across the
County through partnerships with local agencies, volunteers, and community programs. This update provides
an opportunity for the Board to receive current information regarding service levels, operational challenges,
and future plans under the new leadership.
The presentation is intended to inform and engage the Board on the status of local food assistance efforts, as
well as to acknowledge the contributions of outgoing leadership.
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive the informational update from the Jefferson County Food Bank Association, including remarks from
Executive Director Patricia Hennessy and President Roland Faragher-Horwell.
No formal action is required at this time.
