Regional Economic Development District for Clallam and Jefferson
Counties:
•Broad approach, seeking to build a thriving economy, healthy environment
and resilient communities.
•Regional Planning: Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS),
climate and disaster resilience planning
•Support economic development in key sectors: farm & food, forestry, marine
trades, green technology
•Support development of economic infrastructure in the region: broadband
expansion, energy reliability and resilience, workforce development
•Regional convener: Strait Ecosystem Recovery Network, conferences,
collaborative grants
