2.LTAC funds spent by your organization 3rd QTR (include 200 word limit regarding activities and funds spent

The 48th annual Wooden Boat Festival took place the weekend of September 5–7 and was a great success
despite steady fog and intermittent rain showers. Our calculations place the number of attendees at 21,198,
with 5,724 coming from out-of-state. At least 40% were new first-time visitors.
This year’s Economic Impact & Visitor Feedback Survey revealed that nearly 38% of respondents were made
aware of the Festival through print ads in newspapers and magazines, posters, paid radio and TV ads, or social
media promotions, much of which our LTAC grant made possible. Of 652 survey respondents, 60.43%
reported having made overnight accommodations in Jefferson County. 34.8% of those who stayed overnight
did so for 4+ nights. For those survey respondents who reported paying for lodging, the overall average
lodging expenditure per respondent was $697.77.
The data detailing interactions with paid social media promotions of the 2025 Festival demonstrate how
effective and worthwhile our targeting of out-of-towners was. For example, of our Facebook followers, 95.2%
were from outside Port Townsend.
The balance of our LTAC funds remaining after the 2nd quarter was spent in full during the promotion of the
