Hi Christina,
Thanks for the quick reply — noticing the first week in November is confirmed, with notice board/notice packet pickup
from DCD on 11/2.
You will be picking up a notice board that needs to be installed into the ground in a visible place on the property. You
will likely need a shovel and/or mallet to insert the sign into the ground.
Attached to the notice board will be a 'notice packet' that includes the hard copies of the notice that need to be affixed
the notice board. In the packet will also be clear, adhesive sheets that can be used to cover the notice and get the
sheets to stick to the board. You may want to have a staple gun, just in case there are any problems with the clear
sheets.
Finally, there will be an 'Affidavit of Posting' in the packet that needs to be notarized and returned to DCD, preferably
within three days of posting.
The notice board/packet will be at the DCD receptionist desk (note DCD will be closed from noon to 1:00 that day). I will
be in the office that day so if the person coming to DCD has any questions, s/he should feel free to ask for me.

EFFECTIVE 7/1/2021 DCD WILL BE OPEN FROM 9:00-12:00 and 1:00 - 4:30.
DCD will maintain limited customer interaction and recommends scheduling an appointment to meet with staff. DCD will no longer be accepting
building applications .by drop off or moil, so you must schedule an appointment with front staff to submit. A mask and social distancing are required.

I will have someone come pick it up on the 2"d; that isn't a problem. Can you tell me what will need to be posted? They
will post it on the way back to Olympia, so we want to make sure we have the right supplies to post on the kiosk at the

Hi Christina,
Your shoreline application for Point Whitney improvements can be noticed. I would like to notice the application on
Wednesday, November 3. For this to happen, you would need to come to DCD on Tuesday, November 2 to pick up a
notice board/notice packet and have it installed at Point Whitney by the following day. Does this work for you?
To keep the November 3 notice date, I would need confirmation from you by noon on Tuesday, October 25. Let me
know.
