To whom it may concern,
I am a resident of Quilcene and 4th generation Peninsula resident with a deep connection to the history and future of this place. As a parent raising a child here and a small business
owner operating in this town I’d like to express my support of having Sunny Allen on the planning commission.
She is a very intelligent and thoughtful communicator with many years of engagement and connectivity with the people of Quilcene on many levels, despite the deeply trenched lines constantly
constructed to divide working class people in small rural towns.
Her work as a councilor and advocate for children are a testament to her investment in a future that is better than the present.
Her years working second jobs mostly in the service industry speaks to a very valuable education of the make up of this community and what the lived reality is for those who aren’t well
served by the current conditions.
I believe that Sunny’s energetic contribution to the planning commission would be a great value and benefit to our community as we all navigate what world we want future generations
to inherit.
