Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: This change order changes the contract to include increased cost for the septic pumping and the added time for decommissioning the septic tanks. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The amount for Change Order No. 5 is 86,626.39. The contract amount will increase from $2,830,910.60to $2,917,536.99. NOTE, the cost includes 9.2% sales tax. The project is funded at 100% by the Department of Ecology combine funding package (Centennial grant, State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan and SRF forgivable loan). Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 5 with Strider Construction, and return one original to Public Works for further processing.
