Per RCW 36.40.140 the Board of County Commissioners must hold a public hearing regarding the proposed budget changes. ANALYSIS: These budget changes are intended to address unanticipated expenditures of the requesting department. The Hearing Notice will be published in the Port Townsend Leader on November 24 and December 1, 2025 FISCAL IMPACT: See attached department fund requests. Fund# Org# Revenue Obj# Description $0.00 Reason for budget appropriation: As of November 1st we have a reserve of$53,225.19 in this account.The VRF money in this account is something that if not used rolls over year to year and allows us to make bigger purchases for our vessels.This year we would like to buy a GPS and Sonar for the MN Valor.The recent servicing and winterizing of both vessels has put us over budget,so we would like to move additional funds to cover us until the end of the year.There are no more trainings/manhours expected but we still have our moorage and since there are no more appropriations for the year we would like to include a slush fund in case we incur a water rescue betw now and December 31st.
