I am one of many who exercise at ZUMBA classes in the Rec Center on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday in the Rec Center Gym. There are others who attend the classes on Monday, Wednesday, Please
know that many Jefferson County residents would be affected if we can no longer use this building on a regular basis. This is a critical component of my health plan (age 78) and
one of the few activities that is versatile and fun enough to keep me motivated and allow me to adjust the exercise to my own capabilities at the time.
I have recovered from several injuries, by picking up Zumba again with attending part of the class right after being discharged from physical therapy and working my way back up to three
days/week.
I know that you will have to adjust something to meet the budget shortfall, but please do not take a simple, but critical exercise opportunity from so many in our community.
