LCB Action: Alcohol and Cannabis, General Rulemaking – 2025 Legislative Implementation (HB 1636, HB 1698, 2SSB 5786 and Miscellaneous Statutory Updates)
On Nov. 5, 2025, during its regularly scheduled meeting the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) approved the following action impacting some alcohol and cannabis rules to be published in
the Washington State Register and take effect on December 3, 2025:
2025 Legislative Implementation: Proposed rules filed – Public comment period now open
The Board approved expedited rulemaking (CR-105) to amend and repeal existing rules in Title 314 WAC to align with statutory changes made in House Bill 1636 <https://links-2.govdelivery.com/CL0/https
