this proposal is crucial for ensuring the immediate reduction of dangerous anchoring activity and the long-term protection of our pristine harbor from an avoidable environmental disaster.
We greatly value your leadership on this matter and know you are committed to delivering results for the community. Could you please use your influence to inquire with the County Attorney's
office about the current sticking point and explore options for expediting this review?
On a separate but urgent note: We are certain you recognize the immense public relations challenge and community fallout that would result if a vessel incident were to occur while this
supported proposal is stalled in legal review. The impact on property values and the local economy would be severe and immediate. We must move quickly to ensure we are seen as proactive
stewards of this harbor.
We are ready and willing to provide any additional information or clarification needed to accelerate this final review phase.
