Dear Friends,
The work that First Step Family Support Center does each and every day brings vital support to families, sometimes in moments of deep and powerful joy, and sometimes in valleys of challenges
that feel insurmountable. It is the growth and development in families that makes our work worthwhile. Breaking down cycles of generational trauma and poverty is courageous, transformative
work, progress that may unfold over years or even generations, yet each step reflects the strength and resilience families bring to their journey. Every step forward matters, and every
family we serve is a testament to hope.
This year, thanks to your generosity and partnership, we’ve reached more families than ever before. In just the first ten months of 2025, over 2,200 families have found support, guidance,
and connection through First Step Family Support Center. Together, we’ve provided resources and opportunities that meet families where they are, whether it’s the joy of early learning
in playgroups, the steady encouragement of home-based parent support, or the empowerment that comes from advocacy and leadership.

As the holiday season approaches, we know it can heighten and mix emotions, joy in celebrations, but also the weight of challenges, the absence of loved ones, or the overwhelm of so
much to do. The truth is, two opposing feelings can and often must co-exist:

· You can be both exhausted and thankful for a quiet minute to yourself.
· You can be both anxious and feel moments of overwhelming joy.
