Dear Commissioner,
I am writing to express my strong support for keeping the Rec Center open. Our family visits the Rec Center almost four- five days a week to play basketball, futsal, and use the indoor
play areas.
In Port Townsend, the long winter rainy season makes indoor recreation especially important. For families with children who need space to move and release energy every day, the Rec Center
is an essential resource, not something we can easily replace.
Please do not close the building. It plays a vital role in our community, and many families depend on it.
