Suspended: Continuum of Care Program proposals
HUD announced the change Monday
The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is withdrawing the FY2025 Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). As a result, the Washington Balance of
State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) is suspending the request for proposals (RFP) for new continuum of care projects. Applications are no longer due on Dec. 15.
HUD announced this on Monday. In the announcement, HUD stated that they “anticipate reissuing a modified NOFO well in advance of the deadline for obligation of available Fiscal Year
2025 funds.”
The Balance of State Continuum of Care intends to reissue this RFP with any necessary changes upon receiving an updated NOFO from HUD. The suspension could also result in a cancelation
of the RFP if a new NOFO is not released.
Because we do not know the future timeline, we recommend that organizations interested in applying continue internal discussions about new projects and hold onto any materials created
thus far.
