Dear Board of County Commissioners,
I'm writing today to urge you not to even consider closing the Recreation Center located at 620 Tyler St, Port Townsend, WA. This facility is vital to our community. We sent our child
there for day care. My son and I play recreational indoor soccer together on Tuesday nights each week. My son plays recreational soccer, and I volunteer as a coach. I'm aware that
the community center supports other activities such as basketball, volleyball, and zumba.
We need to keep as many opportunities for physical activity as possible for the health of our community. The Jefferson County Recreation Center in Port Townsend benefits our children,
adults, and seniors! Please don't consider closing this facility.
