NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office is seeking individuals interested in serving on an “Against” committee to prepare ballot statement arguments opposing
the following proposed measures:
• Jefferson County Fire District No. 1 – Proposition 1
• Jefferson County Fire District No. 1 – Proposition 2
• Port Townsend School District No. 50 – Proposition 1
• Brinnon School District No. 46 – Proposition 1
The statements will appear in the Jefferson County Local Voters’ Pamphlet and the Auditor believes it is in the voters’ best interest to have both sides represented.
A FOR committee has been formed and a FOR statement will be published in the Local Voters’ Pamphlet if a statement is submitted by the submittal deadline.

soon as possible. Statements must be submitted by Friday, December 19, 2025, at 4:30 pm.
