Tonight Donald Trump took over national TV news sets to spew a bunch of random bullshit about “transgender for everybody,” “affordability is a made up term,” “sinister woke radicals in our schools,” and a long list of other lies. It reminded me of President Bush’s reaction to Trump’s inaugural address. “That was some weird shit.” One thing is clear: the Democratic Party needs to run the best possible candidates in November. And we need to effectively end this presidency's reign of terror. We’re working to elect a new generation of progressives who are ready to offer a real alternative to Trumpism and deliver the change that Americans want to see. With a new generation coming into power who are ready to fight back against Trump and refuse corporate money.
