Hello,
I have reached out to our local humane society twice via email and via phone call.
All phone trees connected to the number 3603853292 lead to prompt asking for a voicemail box number , however no voicemail box number is provided. This makes it impossible to contact
anyone by phone. I have spoken to other members of the community who have had the same problem. They are unable to call due to the phone system being set up incorrectly.
When I emailed, I did not receive a reply. I emailed again, and received a response stating that the shelter is not accepting animals right now. I was asked if they could put the animal
on a wait list to be surrendered.
From my understanding the humane society is open admission, and they carry contracts with the city and county. Am I correct in that understanding? Open admission means that they cannot
turn the animal being surrendered away, correct?
