Library Capital Improvement Program now accepting applications until April 15
Funding available to acquire, construct or rehabilitate library facilities
Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2027-29 Library Capital Improvement Program (LCIP). These competitive grants can fund up to 50% of eligible capital costs, up to $2 million
per project to acquire, construct or rehabilitate library facilities.
Funding details
Facilities eligible for LCIP funding must be a public library operated by governmental units as defined in RCW 27.12.010 <https://links-2.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fapp.leg.wa.gov%2FRCW%2Fdefaul

the library, or be in partnership with the operator, such as a nonprofit community-based organization. In addition:

* listed on a local, state or federal register of historic places, and
