Dear Jeff and Board Members,
Thank you for your help with this concern.
Since I was very young my family has been camping at Graves Creek Campground in the Olympic National Park and the road to access the Campground runs through Jefferson County. It has
washed out quite a few times over the past years but it is to me the most pristine and beautiful stretch of the Quinault river that exists. So many families have enjoyed that Campground.
The road has been closed now since last Spring.There is a culvert problem. It's beautiful even in the winter to get back in there to Graves Creek. Ive seen Harlequin ducks, lots of
Elk of course and otter and even a mountain lion. It is unchanged from when I was a kid. Some of my brother's, daughter's and Dad's ashes are in that river up there.
You would love the place. I would greatly appreciate your support for funding the road repairs.
