No. 667009, M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 0.25 Engineering Design Services To: Agenda Date: Subject: Statement of Issue: The East Price Street Improvement Project requires professional engineering services. A Consultant Agreement needs to be executed with the selected consultant, SvR Design Company, in order to obtain the required services for this project. Analysis/Strategic GoalslPros 8: Cons: Execution of this contract will allow for development of the design for construction of this project. The required services include production of Technical Special Provisions, Drainage Design Details, and Site Development Plans for construction of improvements. This project is necessary to resolve ongoing roadway drainage and traffic issues, and to improve roadway conditions to meet current neighborhood standards. To proceed with this project, the required design work needs to be performed by specialized engineering consultants. FiscallmpactlCost Benefit Analysis: This consultant agreement provides for a maximum of $24,978 to be spent on site engineering design services for this phase of work. Recommendation: The Board is asked to approve and sign the attached three (3) originals of the Standard Consultant Agreement with SvR Design Company where indicated, and return two (2) of the signed originals to Public Works (attn.
