The Jefferson County Fairgrounds is committed to
providing a safe and friendly place to host the
County Fair and events and activities that

-We are a remarkably under‑utilized 32‑acre asset in the heart of a
community that celebrates diverse culture, creativity, and connection.
-We have event buildings, outdoor arenas, open grounds, abundant
parking, and a campground, making the property uniquely positioned to
become a true hub of community engagement.
-Unlocking that potential has meant shifting public perception of the
Fairgrounds and increasing awareness of what the space can offer.
-Our vision has become to partner with local nonprofits doing
meaningful work to create a collaborative, welcoming environment
where people come together, share resources, and build community.

1 COUNTY FUNDING
The County’s $100,000 in funding
is vital to sustaining our mission.
It allows us to employ core staff
needed to care for the
Fairgrounds and address
essential operational needs,
preserving this community asset
for events, education, recreation,
and connection.
2 VENUE REVENUE
Remaining revenue is derived
through the staff’s ongoing work
and efforts to lease our venues,
grounds, and campground
facilities.
3 GRANTS & DONATIONS
We develop grant funding to
reinforce the long‑term health of
the Fair and the Fairgrounds.
These grants allow us to
modernize critical infrastructure,
improve accessibility, and
elevate the overall experience
for our community, partners, and
visitors.
