Dear John,
Later this week, state legislators in Olympia are debating an excellent set of bills to reign in how data centers impact our environment (and power bills). We're asking you, our members,
to come out strong in support of these bills because they:
* Ensure residents and small businesses are safe from higher electric bills when data centers put more than their fair share of pressure on the grid;
* Safeguard our state's climate and energy goals;
* Mandate transparent reporting on water use and energy consumption; and
* Fund community efforts to weatherize homes, particularly for low-income households.
