Statement of Issue: Change Order No. 14 with Interwest Construction of Burlington,
Washington.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's &t Con's: This change order modifies and changes the
original scope by providing and installing heat trace for the non-Ovivo MBR
equipment.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The total amount for Change Order No. 14 is
$12,004.13 (includes 9.2% Washington State Sales Tax). The contract amount will
increase from $10,681,237.53 to $10,693,241.66. The project is funded at 100% by the
Department of Commerce.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order
No. 14 with Interwest Construction, and return one original to Public Works for
further processing.
