I should have included this in my previous email.
Why is Jefferson County not expanding the current location of the waste transfer station? I believe there is about 150 acres of Jefferson County property at that location.
I know some of that 150 acres has the fire station, the animal shelter and other users, but that still leaves more than sufficient area for the proposed new waste transfer station.\
