Local government capital project funding available soon
Local governments: share your feedback on the process at upcoming listening sessions
Commerce is hosting two listening sessions for local governments to provide input on how a new capital project capacity grant can help overburdened communities. We will share the draft
program design and seek community feedback during the listening sessions.

There will also be a listening session for tribes. More information will be communicated directly to tribal governments.
About the funding opportunity
Commerce has $1.9 million available for local governments and tribes working on capital projects. Applications will open this spring, and funding can be used to support a range of pre-development
and pre-construction activities in historically under-resourced communities.
