How incredibly unfair to schedule a public comment meeting on the Humane Society issue without informing the public in plenty of time for us to be able to attend!
The Humane Society has been maligned and the newspapers have printed sensationalist, inflammatory articles - this is outrageous and the public needs to hear BOTH SIDES of the story.
You only fan the flames when you don't give the public adequate time to respond.
Those of us who have any familiarity with the Humane Society know that Dr.Kraft's actions should be thoroughly investigated - not just her accusations. I am just a member of the public,
not a shelter volunteer or employee, so I am not biased.
Please do a better job of allowing the public to be informed and to comment.
