Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8t Con's: Change Order No. 6 is a $24,530.00 (plus 9.2% WSST) increase to the Ovivo contract. The proposed change to the contract includes 1) Ovivo engineering and drafting time for changes made to Change Order No. 2; and 2) additional materials which were not included in Change Order No. 2. Change Order No. 2, was executed on 10/16/2023 and added a new master control panel to incorporate the Ovivo system and the non-Ovivo system controls. Programming and integrating controls for non-Ovivo equipment were not included in the original design. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Change Order No. 6 adds $24,530.00 (plus 9.2% WSST) to the total contract price. The contract increases from $1,790,805.35 (plus WSST) to $1,815,335.35 (plus WSST). The project is funded at 100% by the Department of Commerce through the American Rescue Plan Act, State and Local Fiscal Reovery Funds. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board sign Change Order No. 6 where indicated and return signed change order to Public Works for further processing.
