SUBJECT: 2026 Jefferson County Economic Development Framework
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
One of the BoCC's 2026 goals is doing the internal work to clarify how the county organization is working
toward economic development. What are our goals, and how can we work with our partners in the
Intergovernmental Collaborative Group (ICG) to create a framework that allows us to define goals and
evaluate plans to achieve those goals?
ANALYSIS:
This is the second workshop to discuss how we want to work with our local partners and the approach
what we can bring to the ICG's February meeting for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION
Listen to the presentation, discuss and potentially take action on identifying priorities, approach and or tools
for economic development.
