STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
On February 4, 2026, Janette Mestre, of the Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee District 1
Representative, resigned from her position on this committee. Her term will expire on March 10, 2029, and
she has chosen to resign before her term expires.
RECOMMENDATION
Accept the Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee Representative resignation and sign the thank
you letter for committee service.
