Historical Museum representative; Cleone Telling
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
On February 5, 2026, Cleone Telling, Brinnon/Quilcene, Quilcene Historical Museum representative,
submitted her letter of resignation from the Tourism Coordinating Council effective February 5, 2026.
Cleone joined the TCC under the leadership of Bill Rooney and has valued working alongside current
members Steve Shively and Marsha Massey. Their guidance helped her understand the vital role of
marketing in Jefferson County. She found it rewarding to share updates from the neighborhoods and report
on local events. She served on this council for nearly 10 years, and her family roots date back to 1874.
Cleone has always felt a strong commitment to giving back to her community.
RECOMMENDATION
Accept the Brinnon/Quilcene, Quilcene Historical Museum representative resignation from Cleone Telling
and sign the thank you letter for her service.
