HomeMy WebLinkAboutTicketing and Reservations Project - FAC Meeting - Wednesday, Feb. 11WSF UPDATED RESERVATIONS SYSTEM - PREVIEW Wednesday, February 11, 2026 AGENDA •WSF team introductions (3 min) •Project overview (3 min) •Reservations booking process (10 min) •Additional project work (5 min) •Question and answer (10 min) ABOUT THE PROJECT •Replace the existing, outdated ticketing and reservations systems for both customers and WSF staff. •The new system is intended to do the same things our current system does. •There are no changes to policies or rules related to ticketing and reservations. •Working toward a late-2026 launch •Community engagement coming soon PROJECT SCOPE 1.Customers – online systems for booking reservations, buying tickets, and managing both tickets and reservations; terminal kiosk for buying tickets and getting sailing information. Future - open payments, tap and go. 2.Terminal staff – hardware and software upgrades; point-of-sale system for redeeming tickets and reservations, selling tickets. 3.Customer service and revenue control – back-end system for helping customers manage tickets and reservations; communications tools for service disruptions that impact reservation holders. 4.IT systems – upgraded systems for supporting WSF staff and customers, interim phase between existing system and new one; security needs; integration with our current operations.
