Dear Jefferson County Commissioners,
I wholeheartedly encourage you to appoint Jim Friedman to the District 3 position on the County’s Solid Waste Advisory Committee. Jim has devoted a great deal of volunteer time and effort
to following this issue in Committee meetings for the past couple of years. He has a firm grasp of the many issues and considerations facing the county. As a Quilcene resident, he is
also keenly aware of the challenges facing rural south county communities. I believe he is uniquely qualified to represent the concerns of his fellow residents while – as a conscientious
taxpayer – appropriately balancing the county’s budgetary, maintenance, and other constraints. I believe it is critical for the residents’ perspective to be represented in the Committee’s
official proceedings, and I have every confidence in Jim’s good will and sound judgment to help guide the Committee to the most beneficial outcome for all.
