From Figure 3"Stability charts for uniform slopes"the following parameters are known for native silty
glacial till materials:

c/[gamma x H x tan(phi)]=250/(139 x 60 x tan 31)=0.050

From Figure 4"Stability charts for uniform slopes"the following parameters are known for native glacial
till materials:
c(cohesion)=250 psf,gamma(insitu unit density) = 139 pcf, H(height of slope)=60 ft,
phi(internal friction angle)=31 deg, then
c/[gamma x H x tan(phi)]=250/(139 x 60 x tan 31)=0.050
Then for a 31 deg slope from Fig.4 for a quasi-static analysis coefficient of 0.1:
F/tan(31)=2.2 or F=1.32,
For a quasi-static analysis coefficient of 0.2:
F/tan(31)=1.7 or F= 1.02
As a result,for a quasi static analysis coefficient of 0.15,the Factor of Safety, F=(1.32+1.02)/2=1.170>1.100 OKAY
