The conference is always a meaningful time to exchange ideas, discuss federal priorities, and reflect on the shared challenges and opportunities facing our counties. It is especially powerful when rural, midsize, and large urban counties come together with one voice. The Legislative Conference represents the best of NACo: counties learning from one another, sharing what works, and strengthening relationships that continue long after we return home. I am eager for the conversations ahead and for the chance to hear directly about the issues that matter most to your county.
