Dear Commissioners,
I would like to strongly encourage the Board of County Commissioners to appoint Jim Friedman to the District 3 seat on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC).
Jim has consistently demonstrated an impressive level of engagement and knowledge regarding the recycling and solid waste needs of our south county residents. His proactive approach
and informative perspective would make him a valuable asset to the committee’s work.
I’m uncertain how long the District #3 Citizen Representative seat has been vacant, but I am certain you won’t find a better citizen then Jim to fill that vacancy. It would be hard to
understand why the SWAC would reject the opportunity to have someone like Jim, who has the passion, knowledge and commitment to serving his community in this capacity.
I fully welcome and support his addition to the committee.
