Commissioners and Staff,
I am writing to share my perspective regarding Jim Friedman’s application for appointment to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.
Having served on the committee myself, as well as in other capacities throughout the county, I understand the importance of members who are engaged, informed, and willing to participate
thoughtfully in complex discussions. Jim brings energy, strong convictions, and a clear interest in solid waste issues. I have known him to be well-researched, diligent, and passionate
in his work.
He has demonstrated a commitment to advocating for the public’s benefit and raising important considerations that advance discussion. I believe Jim is capable of contributing meaningfully
to the work of the committee.
