Please read the following press release from Stacie Prada, Jefferson County Treasurer:
Property owners can expect to see property tax statements in their mailbox this week according to Jefferson County Treasurer Stacie Prada. Those who are enrolled in eNotices received
the email on Fri, Feb 13, 2026 at 2:02 PM PST from Jefferson County WA Treasurer – eNoticesOnline (notifications@enoticesonline.com <mailto:notifications@enoticesonline.com> ) with
the subject line, “Your new/revised eNotice is available from the Jefferson County Treasurer.”
Remember the deadline to pay first installment property taxes is April 30th.
According to Jefferson County Assessor Jeff Chapman, the total taxable value for the county, including new construction, exceeded $10 billion for the first time, rising by 4.12% in 2025
from 2024. This increase is less than the prior year’s increase of 6.82%.
Voter-approved measures combined with regular levy increases raised taxes by an average of 2.04% (varies by location). The county government levy rate dropped from 0.94/1000 to 0.92/1000.
Median home values as of January 1, 2025, ranged from $392,390 (Brinnon) to $738,893 (Marrowstone) with the countywide ($565,274) and citywide ($565,591) median values being nearly the
same.

Property taxes may be paid by mail, online, at the drop box behind the Courthouse, in the Treasurer’s Office in the Courthouse or by AutoPay. Information on these options is available
