Present: Greg Brotherton - facilitator, Julia Cochrane - scribe, Talon - Recovery Cafe, Dove House, Mazure - Health Dept. K. Kiplinger, Renata Munfrada, Trevor Breland David E., Bill
Volmut - Bayside, James Holthaus - Bayside, Anya - Health Dept.
Campers: Mazure - hearing reports of people being woken up by police but not necessarily moved. Asking for the police to log such encounters. Mazure - Chief Olsen - a few people have
been contacted behind DSHS. They are not being asked to move.
Shelter: About 45 people - close to the maximum. Could use some volunteers - evening hours or early in the morning. 4-10 PM, 6-8 AM. Still need shelter meals. Got a report on low revenue.
Judy will join Housing Fund Board to reserve money for the maintenance of the shelter till the end of the year. Feel confident the Legion will extend the contract past the end of June.
It most probably will take till the end of the year - December.
Need report on Kitchen facilities.
Housing Fund Board - implementation of the 5 Year Plan. And the Continuum of Care. Currently Olycap is the CoC provider and distributes those funds. County is considering taking it on.
Managing HMIS etc. Meeting is tomorrow 2:30 - 4:30 BOCC chambers and on line.
LIHI Low Income Housing Institute - Renata Greg and Julia joined in the meeting. Interested in creating a shelter - the tiny wooden tents. They are ready to partner. They do not bring
operational dollars with them. Private property is okay. Anya is excited about LIHI and their Urban Rest Stop project. Mazure will set up a meeting. LIHI does more than tiny shelters
- they do housing. Like housing for families. OPIOD funds - One Washington MOU.
Warming Center - Can Kippi approach the Hospital?
RFP for current OPIOD funds went out yesterday - application due 2/23. Anya. The funding is just one year. Behavioral Health Advisory Committee. Apple is the chair. Heather sits on it.
