⚡ Energy demand is soaring
Data centers already consume roughly four percent of all U.S. electricity use, and that number is projected to grow significantly with the expansion of AI.
💸 Energy bills will continue to rise
New transmission lines and power plants are expensive, and utility companies often seek to recover these costs from ratepayers, rather than from tech companies who are profiting from
this technology.
🏭 Pollution and public health impacts are real
Increased fossil fuel use and diesel engine backup power threaten nearby communities with increased air pollution and climate emissions.
We are entering a critical moment in which governments are trying to fast-track data center growth using dirty fossil fuels and disregarding our concerns. However, we will show you how
