JEFFERSON COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION TO
VACATE A PORTION OF MUMBY ROAD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Jefferson County Hearing
Examiner to review and receive comments on a road vacation petition.

LOCATION OF SUBJECT RIGHTS-OF-WAY:
Northwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 30 North, Range 1 East.
DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST:
Principal petitioner, has requested the County vacate (per Chapter 12.10 Jefferson County Code and
Chapter 36.87 RCW) the western terminus of Mumby Road (184 feet x 12 feet) primarily located on
parcel 021-202-012.
PUBLIC HEARING:
The Jefferson County Hearing Examiner will conduct a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on March 27,
2026 to consider the request to vacate these road rights-of-way. This is a remote meeting; you are
welcome to attend via phone or online via Zoom. Comments may be presented via testimony during the
hearing or mailed or emailed to the Contact Person listed below.
