I just heard about the rescued old growth on DNR land near Cape George.
Thank you for all your efforts to protect the last shreds of our
peninsula's ecosystem. If we can hold the imminent climate-altering
drought at bay long enough to keep everything from burning up, all those
precious species and interconnections may have a slight chance.
We "nature-lovers" will remember you during the elections. We need
pro-conservation people like you desperately these days.
If you pray, pray for rain. It's going to be a dry summer!
