Josh our real property specialist, also agreed that there are no parks and rec related

No I don’t think there is any parks/rec related issues to the vacation request, the roadsegment is not near a park or trail and does not connect with water. I typically will sendnotifications to all departments that could have an interest. The second notice was aduplicate because the map didn’t show up correctly with my disclaimer message in thefirst email chain.

Hi Josh,
I got both of the road vacation notices.
The JCPRAB won’t meet again until April 2, 2026. But I think it would be fine if I sent these to the
Advisory Board Chair to see if they wanted to attend the meeting or make a comment. I looked on
the parcel map and I doubt there will be any comments because these vacations do not appear to
have any bearing on parks and recreation.
Are you aware of any parks and recreation related issues with these road vacations?

NOTICE OF PETITION TO
VACATE PORTIONS OF ROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY
Jefferson County Public Works has received a petition from James Burnell, to vacate thewestern terminus of Mumby Rd (184 feet x 12 feet) located on parcel 021-202-012, (see mapbelow).
The Jefferson County Hearing Examiner will conduct a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on
March 27, 2026 to consider the request to vacate these road rights-of-way. This is a remote
meeting, you are welcome to attend via phone or online via Zoom.
