We have received the notice to vacate portion of rights of way on Mumby Road on Marrowstone Island.
We are registering our concerns as follows:
The requested vacation of 184 feet of the western end of Mumby road will create a hardship and safety concern for
vehicular turnaround into the adjacent property at 421 Mumby Rd. Delivery trucks may need to back down from this
neighboring entrance gate driveway when the gate is closed.
We do not wish to rely on adjacent owner permissions to allow turn around using other solutions.
We request that petitioners request for vacation of portions of rights of way be denied, or, that the vacation request
be reduced to allow 24 feet of back down space, thus reducing the vacation to 160 feet of the western end of Mumby
Road.
