Exploratory Regional Parks and Recreation Committee
Appointments
Statement of Issue: The City of Port Townsend and Jefferson County coordinated to
form the Exploratory Regional Parks and Recreation Committee (ERPRC) in an inter-
local agreement (ILA) approved in 2010. The ILA provides a description of the
committee's composition and authorizes the County and City to each make certain
appointments. The recommended County appointments are listed in the table
included with this agenda request, and includes the County designated positions as
well as designations from the Port Townsend, Chimacum, Quilcene and Brinnon School
Districts, Law &: Justice Council, Health Department and Hospital District.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8: Con's: The Committee could further County
strategic goals # 1,2,3,5,8 and 9.
FiscallmpactlCost Benefit Analysis: The costs are shared by the City and County.
Recommendation: Make and approve a motion to appoint the members in the
attached table of appointments, Chair of the Board sign the bottom of the table.
