I am incredibly dismayed to hear that once again the port Townsend rec center is considering being closed.
This space is absolutely vital the heartbeat of this community. There are soooo few activities for kids and teens in this community and the rec center offers my 14 year old, games, basketball
and regular indoor soccer.
As his mom, I am in there once or twice a week dancing Zumba.
We cannot let this precious space close. It would be an incredible loss.
Please do whatever necessary to keep this space open.
