To whom it may concern,
I am a mother and a teacher in the Port Townsend community.
It breaks my heart to know that you are considering closing the rec center, and destroying the playground that my children use every week. Our rec center is a place where our community
connects and gathers in good weather and in bad. It serves the most vulnerable people in our community, including the young and The elderly when we support The most vulnerable in our
community, it benefits everybody. Let’s stop taking these valuable things away from our community. Let’s be a community member that values young people and families and the elderly
